Our journey begins in ME, driving the southern route of the US, ending in San Diego. We fly 12/13/12 to Vietnam (Hanoi) to volunteer in a medical clinic for 2 weeks, then traveling in Vietnam, Laos & Thailand for 3 weeks. We will then spend time in CA working as a traveling nurse/speech therapist.

Chickadees Take Flight...
11/04/2012: Our bags our packed and our apartment cleaned. The beginning of our journey is underway.
Your cross country trip presents you with an opportunity to view this beautiful land. We have driven your route many times and it brings back smiles.
For years we traveled the Southern route 10 between Florida and San Francisco. The vast expanse of waters in Mobile Bay play against the open sky in contrast to the Louisiana canopy bayous. The Texas prairies are a series of rolling waves; the dramatic change to towering rock formations and desert landscapes in the Southwest is visually inspiring. Ozona, TX is a great little town we visited when we were detoured off the interstate due to wild fires. Life is an adventure and enjoy all its wonderful aspects.
