Magazine Street
11/20/12 We started our morning off with a long run down Magazine street
and into the Garden district, where we discovered a very cute area
filled with coffee shops and various boutique stores. As we looped back we ran along small streets that were lined with huge
beautiful southern houses with massive wrap-around decks. It was a great
way to start the day. We then headed to Bywater to grab some brunch at a
little hipster spot "Satsuma".
On the streetcar heading back to the hotel for some R&R....Someone was tired after our day running, walking and exploring New Orleans.
After which we meandered back towards the french market, around the French Quarter and then took the streetcar to Audubon park.
We ended the day by meeting cousins, Virginia and Frances Currie (Scannell family from Arkansas), at "Jenny & Dick's" for a southern dinner, which was such a treat to meet and unite with family in New Orleans!!
